Building a team begins with the right people.
Invite new members using a private invitation link or QR code, assign responsibilities that match each person's role, update permissions as your team grows, and remove members whenever necessary.
Each Team Workspace remains under the control of its Team Admin while every musician keeps their own independent Personal Workspace.
Role-Based Responsibilities
Every team member contributes differently.
Instead of giving everyone the same tools, ChordSet assigns responsibilities through four clearly defined roles.
Musicians focus on performing.
Editors create and maintain songs.
Library Managers organize the shared library, prepare Draft Sets, and submit them for review.
Team Admins oversee the complete workflow—from member management to cloud publishing.
Roles belong to the workspace, not the person, allowing the same musician to participate in multiple teams with different responsibilities.
The shared library represents the official music collection used by your team.
Through the Admin Dashboard, Team Admins can publish library updates to the cloud, refresh local copies, or manage the team's shared content from one centralized location.
Every published update becomes available for team members to import whenever they're ready.
Preparing music and approving music are intentionally separate responsibilities.
Library Managers prepare Draft Sets without affecting the team's official Stage Sets.
When they're ready, they submit their work through Pending Set Submissions.
Team Admins review each submission, make adjustments when needed, then approve or reject the proposed Stage Sets.
Once approved, ChordSet publishes the updated Stage Sets to the team cloud as part of the same workflow.
Musicians simply import the latest version before rehearsal or performance.
Team Admins can also prepare and publish Stage Sets directly whenever an approval workflow is not required.
Good communication keeps every music team organized.
Team Alerts allow Team Admins and team members to exchange text messages directly inside ChordSet.
Whether announcing library updates, discussing Stage Sets, sharing rehearsal reminders, or coordinating upcoming services, communication remains connected to the team's shared workspace.
