1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account or sign in to use cloud synchronization or team collaboration features, we may collect:
Email address
Display name or profile name
Authentication credentials managed by our authentication provider
Basic account identifiers required for secure authentication
User-Generated Content
ChordSet Pro allows you to create and manage musical content. Depending on how you use the app, this may include:
Lyrics
Chord charts
Songs
Setlists
Active Sets
Team libraries
Notes
Song metadata
Invitations
Team collaboration data
Other content you choose to create
When cloud synchronization is enabled, this information may be securely stored in our cloud database to synchronize your content across devices and enable collaboration with your team.
Local Device Data
Some content, including Private Sets and other offline information, may be stored only on your device.
This locally stored data is not uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly enable cloud synchronization or use collaboration features.
Technical & Diagnostic Information
To improve reliability and maintain the app, we may collect limited technical information such as:
App version
Device model
Operating system version
Crash reports
Error logs
Performance diagnostics
This information is used solely to improve stability, security, and performance and is not used to personally identify you unless necessary to respond to a support request you initiated.

ChordSet Pro is designed to collect only the information necessary to provide its features.
We do not collect:

Your browsing history
Advertising identifiers

Biometric information
Microphone recordings
Photos from your library unless you explicitly select them for OCR scanning
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not rent your personal information.
We do not use your information for targeted advertising.
We do not track your activity across apps or websites owned by other companies.

3. Device Permissions & On-Device Processing
Camera & Photo Library (OCR)
ChordSet Pro may request permission to access your camera or photo library exclusively for the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) feature used to import lyrics and PDF documents.
On-Device Processing
Text recognition is performed entirely on your device using Apple's native Vision Framework (VNRecognizeTextRequest).
Your images, PDF files, and scanned documents are never uploaded to our servers or to any third-party OCR service for text recognition.
Microphone
ChordSet Pro may request access to your microphone for built-in musician tools such as:
Chromatic Tuner
dB Meter
On-Device Audio Processing
Audio is processed locally and in real time on your device.
ChordSet Pro does not:
Record audio
Store audio
Upload audio
Share audio with third parties

Create and manage your account

If you join or create a team, authorized team members may view, edit, or use shared content according to the permissions assigned within the application.

We work with trusted infrastructure providers, including Google Firebase, to operate our cloud services.
These providers process only the information necessary to provide the services on our behalf.

6. Third-Party Services
ChordSet Pro uses Google Firebase to provide backend infrastructure, including:

Cloud Firestore Database
Cloud Synchronization
Reliability Monitoring
Firebase processes only the information necessary to provide these services.
Google's handling of your information is governed by Google's own Privacy Policy.
ChordSet Pro does not integrate:
Third-party advertising SDKs
Cross-app tracking technologies
Third-party analytics platforms for advertising purposes

7. Payments and Subscriptions
At this time, ChordSet Pro does not offer in-app purchases or paid subscriptions.
If premium features are introduced in the future, all purchases will be securely processed through Apple's App Store using your Apple ID.
ChordSet Pro will never collect or store your payment card information.

8. International Data Processing
Our cloud infrastructure may process and store information on secure servers located in different countries where our service providers operate.
Regardless of where your data is processed, we take reasonable measures to protect it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

9. Data Security
We use appropriate administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information.
Cloud data is encrypted during transmission and protected at rest using security mechanisms provided by Google Firebase.
Access to cloud data is restricted through authentication and role-based access controls.
While we continuously work to protect your information, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your account information and cloud content only as long as necessary to provide our services or comply with legal obligations.
If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information and cloud content within a reasonable period unless applicable law requires us to retain certain information for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

Delete songs, setlists, and other content
Leave a team
Remove shared content where permitted
Disable Camera, Photo Library, or Microphone permissions through your device settings
Request deletion of your account and associated cloud data by contacting our support team

12. Children's Privacy
ChordSet Pro is a professional music productivity application intended for musicians and worship teams.
It is not directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate parental consent, please contact us promptly so we can remove the information and close the account if necessary.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When significant changes are made, we will revise the Effective Date at the top of this page and, when appropriate, provide notice within the application.
Continued use of ChordSet Pro after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
